Now that you have the Croatian number, let’s go back to parking
After you have a Croatian number and SMS credits to pay by phone for the parking:
– Find the closest parking payment station, and the phone number associated with it.
– Send an SMS with your licence plate as text (without spaces) to the phone number listed on the station.
– An SMS will be sent to you, informing you that you have your parking paid, and later on that it’s about to expire.
This system usually work by hour depending on the zone, some zones have restrictions where you can’t park longer than two hours.
Download the official HAK app (Croatian Automobile Club) where beside all other options you have pay by phone parking. It gives you location and the exact zone and option to send text to pay for the parking.
