Fruits and vegetables
Croatia is also blessed with a very rich and fertile soil, and sunny weather, creating the perfect environment for growing fruits, grains and vegetables, making Croatian cuisine, organic and chemical free.
Again, due to the soil being so fertile, trees grow everywhere. It is common, when walking on the streets of Istria, to encounter trees loaded with fruits. Or when going to a restaurant, eating home grown ingredients.
