The act of enlightening Burj Khalifa with the Croatian flag, was undertaken in honour to the mayor of Zagreb Milan Bandić one day after his arrival to Dubai. The reason for the mayor’s trip was to meet with Dawood Abdul Rahman, the director-general of Dubai Municipality. Who holds a bachelor’s degree in urban planning and construction technology. Started his career at the same year as a town planning engineer in the Planning Department.
